McDonald’s Is Taking Wraps Off The Menu For Good

McDonald’s Is Taking Wraps Off The Menu For Good

McD-Wraps-Up McDonald's is getting rid of their wraps. It seems the item hasn't been doing well with McDonald's customers, Bloomberg reports. Because of stagnant sales, the fast food chain has eliminated the item from store menus.
McWraps were originally intended to attract McDonald's younger patrons looking to eat something healthy. Y'know, the millennials.
Unfortunately, they were too time-consuming for employees. Twenty seconds alone account for the steaming of the tortilla. Then, the chicken had to be cooked. It really slowed down production time.
Apparently, all-day breakfast has also contributed to the fall of the McWraps. It seems when you can get a Sausage McMuffin with Egg at 3pm, the desire for a McWrap goes out the window.
Hopefully McDonald's next healthy addition fares a little better with customers.

With free Wi-Fi at more than 11,500 participating restaurants, customers can access the Internet using their laptops or PDAs at no charge. So grab a McCafé Latte and log on...it’s on us! Just one more thing to love about McDonald's.
You need a Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) enabled device. Most newer laptops have built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. Older versions may require a separate Wi-Fi card, which you can purchase at most larger electronics retailers. Any chip or card that has been certified for compliance with the Wi-Fi wireless LAN standard (IEE 802.11b) can be used. More and more PDAs and even cell phones are now Wi-Fi enabled. A manufacturer or service provider can help you identify these devices.
Connecting is simple: When in the McDonald’s restaurant, just turn on your computer (or PDA), select “Wayport_Access” from the available wireless networks and open the Internet browser. You will be pointed to the McDonald’s splash page where you can select the CONNECT button.
